For over 30 years, Warren has been an internationally recognized pet and animal expert, and is well known for his unique 'Hugs and Kisses' approach. Warren specializes in resolving behavior problems by teaching people and animals to communicate, so pet and owner may live happily ever after. He combines different techniques learned and observed while working in Southeast Asia and Europe.
Warren has worked with more than 40,000 pets including those of many well-known celebrities, and has been a contributing pet & animal editor for NBC's 'Today' show. For more than fourteen years, Warren was the regular pet and animal expert for "Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee", and has made numerous television appearances on shows such as "Late Night with David Letterman", "Good Morning America", and "20/20".
Warren hosts his own nation-wide syndicated radio talk show, "The Pet Show With Warren Eckstein" which is heard on top-rated WOR radio in New York. He also hosts a similar program on Smart Talk KRLA 870 am radio in Los Angeles. As a pet therapist, Warren dispenses pet behavior and psychology advice during his call-in shows. Consequently, he has been nicknamed, "The Dr. Phil of Pets"! Included with his many accomplishments is a product line, "Hugs and Kisses", which is a vitamin and mineral supplement/treat for dogs and cats.
The intelligent, caring person heard on the radio is the real deal! Warren's numerous books, combined with efforts in improving the pet/human bond, are exemplary. He sits on the board of some of the most recognized animal welfare organizations in the world.
