OC PoundHounds is a non-profit organization whose focus is to identify shelter dogs from the local "High Kill" Shelters in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. This company rescues small, apartment-sized dogs, usually under 15 lbs, who are on the euthanasia lists for reasons such as: minor medical (suspected kennel cough, urinary and/or respiratory tract infections, skin allergies), cruelty and/or neglect cases, or just because the shelter is over-crowded and has to make space for incoming dogs.
