One day it just happened -- Lisa wandered into The PetCare Company, and asked for a job. It seemed crazy that this former TV producer wanted to work in a pet store for starting wages, but she did.
Since working at The PetCare Company, Lisa's devotion to animals went from, "I love my dog" to, "avid dog geek" to, "passionate animal helper". Along the way, she also realized she was sort of a pet communicator.

Lisa's one of those people that can talk to anyone, anytime, about any subject matter. She is a huge advocate of raw diet for dogs, but also helps people find a happy medium that works for their lifestyle. This has been especially beneficial when it comes to restoring the health and confidence of rescues. Her chatty quality is a marvelous asset in other ways, as she has an uncanny ability to network people and companies to support each other.
Her theory is, "No one should carry all the water. We just need to take care of our own bucket. Support each other and do whatever is necessary to benefit animals waiting to find new families. "
Lisa's love of shopping also keeps her on the lookout for cool, new pet products; from toys, to collars, to foods, to supplements. As a freelance writer for health, nutrition, fitness, and nutritional supplements, Lisa often finds ways to wiggle pet-friendly angles into her articles!
